I am a rising senior at Tufts University. I should graduate in 2014 with a B.S. in Human Factors Engineering.
Currently, I am looking for an internship for the summer of 2013, preferably based in or around Manhattan. Boston is also an option.
My goals for a successful internship:
- Make friends with UX professionals (and developers!)
- Learn to use the Adobe Creative Suite more efficiently in a team setting
- Reaffirm my decision to be a designer
- Strengthen my ability to build what I design, i.e. improve my fluency in HTML, CSS and Javascript/Jquery
- Learn to design what is necessary instead of what is cool
- Figure out if a startup makes for a good work environment
- Learn the ins and outs of designing for mobile
